Well I finally got to actually sit down and...

post to the forum.  I've been a long time fan of the sixgun.  It was my first "real" range experience - a 4" model 10 Smith.  Dad was helping me, his 3 year old son, keep it up on target.  Looking forward to being a contributing member of the forum, since I now have about 44 years of experience with them now.  I am a firearms intructor by trade, and teach mostly law enforcement and military units - though I also do private lessons for those that wish to learn the ways of modern firearms tactics.

I make my own leather and am self-taught in this art.  The holster in the picture is a crossdraw rig carrying the 1907 .38WCF.  This was a gun my dad traded a Model 10 S&W police trade-in for ON AN EVEN TRADE!  The man wasn't happy with it because he couldn't buy ammo for it at Wal-Mart!  DUH!  She's about average as far as tightness, but she will print ragged one hole groups at 10 yards. I carry this gun on a regular basis...
THANKS FOR A GREAT FORUM!!!

Oh, and by the way...

that one hole group is printed with a 180 grain bullet cast from wheel weights into a Lee Precision mold (180 grain truncated cone meant for the .40 S&W) sitting over 8 grains of Unique in a Starline case using Winchester LP primers...
