Thanks Chris,  In 1957 I was 9 and got my 1st 22, a model 67 single shot. At the same time Will Hutchins and Jack Elam were on TV in "Sugarfoot"and James Garner, Richard Boone, Gene Barry and others were blasting their way around the old west, yrs trly was blasting the squirrel and woodchuck populations around the local farms. An Innocent Child exposed to guns at an early age!! Excellent! I got a lever action rifle and a six shooter ASAP and have been hooked ever since.  (Those tubes from old dead TVs made great if environmentally unfriendly targets)   Robin

Avatar?

Hi Robin, what is the picture of? I would say by the front sight it was a  New Frontier Colt but I can't be sure. My .22 is a fixed sight Scout from the 60's and I have enjoyed it for many years and many thousands of rounds of plinking and varmint shooting. Have fun here, Chris

Chris, The picture is my

Chris,
The picture is my Ruger Blackhawk 45 colt, 45 ACP.  I did have a Colt New Frontier and was going to sell it to finance the latest gun I had the hots for. Fortunately, my Dad, 89, had more sense and traded his Single Six for the Colt which is a little lighter in weight and easier for him to stick out there and fire.  I am blessed to be able to still share range time with the O.M. I should have guessed better

Hi Robin, I guess I have Colts on the brain as everything I look at looks like a Colt! I better get over that soon or I will have to buy another one. Chris
