Cool

Chris;
I have been seeing a lot of deer in the yard and beanfield lately. Sometimes six or seven eating young sprouts and waging their tail. Lots of snakes, too. Mostly moccasins and rattlers right in the yard. I've started packing the S&W 1950 loaded with handloads filled with 7 1/2 shot instead of the j-frame 32 whenever I walk the dogs. A couple of days ago, my little black Picolla was bouncing through some high grass when a huge moccasin stuck its head up and struck at her. She boogied behind my legs and barked for it to come out and fight me. He was gone by the time I got there, though. Looks like wet Springs bring them out. My grandson shot one at the pond last week when we were bass fishing. The only gun we had was his 270. But it worked.

Don't worry. Be happy.

Sounds Like A Dangerous Place

Hi Mike: Sounds like  a place for the old Snake Charmer shotgun that some company used to market. Can't remember who made them as my old brain is slowly giving way to that dreaded old timers disease! Anyway, glad you have the right medicine for the task at hand, stay safe. Chris S
