I would like to direct our readers to GUNS magazine, March 2012 issue. Mr. Taffin has penned a review of the long awaited New Frontier, with several handloads as well as factory fodder. If after reading his review you don't want one of your own, well your heart must not be beating!

Yes

Mak: Sure did read it and sounds like it could be a winner. I just checked with my local dealer and she said she could get 44 and 45 in all three barrel lengths. I just can't spend the $1200.00 bucks when I already have a 45 NF 7 1/2 so I guess I'll just dream on for a while. Chris

Now I'm getting serious

I read the article, also. It made my teeth chatter for one of the Wiley Clapp .44 Specials. I think I am about to grab one.
In other news, I was reminded yesterday of the main reason I never bought a Colt SAA. I went to Houston to look at a gun collection that was being sold off. There were two .22 LR Colt single actions there. I picked each one up and played with the cylinders. Both were spongey from side to side; like the bolt didn't fit the bolt slot properly. Never saw that in an Eyetalian. Hopefully, Colt has now decided to get in the river and swim without relying solely on the brand.

Don't worry. Be happy.
