I wandered onto the Sixguns site this afternoon to check on the availability of one of J. Taffin's books. I noticed the site was redesigned and went snooping around and signed up here...everything looks brand spanking new. I like the added content especially the picture's, I've been pacing myself looking at them.

I hope things pick up here. I frequent Rugerforums.com and Single-Actions...lurk more than I post. I seem to have picked up the Custom Sixgun disease so I'll be around.

To many good forums, and not enough time. Do A lot of lurking myself.
Is that a #5 in your avatar?
Looks like I have to play around with the formatting a little bit, kind of overlappping the text on my monitor. (Edit: resized it to 125 wide) Glad you are enjoying the new content, this has always been a great site and with a little help it will continue to be "Page one" material.
Thanks--
Al

Yep, I'm amazed at the amount of good solid information available on these forum's, just ask and someone will give you a good answer or point you in the right direction.

The gun in my avatar is a recent build by Harton. Started out a Ruger Blackhawk OM 357 Mag. Alan flat topped it, converted to 40 S&W, added an octagon barrel, a Powers #5 grip frame (rounded off on the bottom)and stocked it with Ivory. I still haven't been able to get to a range to shoot it, it's making me crazy.
