"All gave some, Some gave all..." Today is the anniversary of D-Day

"All gave some, Some gave all..." I searched in vain to find a credible author and couldn't but I think this quote is about the Purple Heart. I do know that on D-Day this quote rang true and I thank those who fought and especially all who died trying to keep freedom alive for those of us alive today. Chris S
